About the Author
Petra K.M. Cooper served for over 18 years in the publishing industry in both Canada and the U.S. and finally gave it all up for cheese. Her new venture, Fifth Town Artisan Cheese Company, is working to establish an artisan scale goat and sheep milk cheese dairy in Prince Edward County, Ontario. Fifth Town Publishing focuses on publications designed to support artisan based enterprises.

Petra Cooper initiated the creation of the Ontario Cheese Society, served as the Chair of its founding committee and currently serves as Chair of the Board. She also serves as Vice Chair of the Board for the Ontario College of Art and Design.
